This position is the primary liaison between the Center and project leaders working at the Judd Hill Cooperative Research Station and working with wheat at Keiser. The individual will be responsible for crop management and performing other activities associated with research plots at Judd Hill and with wheat research plot at Keiser, and for carrying out other duties as assigned by the Center Director and project leaders.

B.S. degree. Individual will be required to perform basic agricultural operations associated with cotton and wheat, including operation of equipment associated with land preparation, planting, pest control, and harvesting.

Preference will be given to individual with training and/or experience working with crop research and/or production. Experience with plot equipment (planting and harvesting) and plant monitoring (growth and pests) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Individual must be able to perform basic agricultural operations associated with cotton and wheat, including operation of equipment associated with land preparation, planting, pest control, and harvesting. Person should possess basic computer skills, particularly use of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
