Post-Doctoral Fellow

This position reports directly to Sana Karam, MD, PhD Assistant Professor and will be based in a cancer biology/cancer immunology research lab. Candidate hired at this position will design and conduct experiments, will be involved in lab management, will write grants, papers, and present research findings in seminar settings, and perform other duties as assigned. Conductexperiments using animal models in vitro models and a variety of molecularbiology, cellular biology, and immunology based assays and techniques

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ph.D.in immunology (preferred), cancer biology, molecular biology or related field.
  • Eligibilityto apply for T32 or F31 NIH training grants is a MUST
  • Bioinformaticsskills preferred
  • Goodcommunication and organizational skills
  • Goodcomputer skills
  • Minimumtwo-year commitment

Desired or preferred:

  • Experiencewith biological modeling
  • Experiencehandling rodents/using animal models
  • Backgroundin immunology is a plus
