Laboratory Focus

The laboratory studies transplantation immunology with a particular focus on developing clinically relevant protocols for the establishment of transplantation tolerance.

 Job DescriptionThe Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in conjunction with the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Division of Transplant Surgery is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow in the area of vascularized composite allograft (VCA) tolerance. The duties include all aspects related to the execution of VCA.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree from an accredited school/college of medicine
  • Successful completion of an accredited surgical program
  • Demonstrated microsurgical experience/training
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous related research experience in transplantation
  • Surgical experience in both rodent and swine models
  • Prior experience in immunological assays including ELISA and flow cytometry
