The Pediatric Cardiovascular Research Laboratory has a Full Time 100% NIH-funded Postdoctoral Associate position available. This position is the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, University of Colorado at Denver, Colorado.

Examples of Work Performed

The laboratory studies gene regulatory systems in pediatric cardiovascular disease, using a bedside to bench approach. This position will focus on the regulation of molecular pathways related to cardiovascular diseases, and identification of novel therapies to treat this population. The work will involve complex data analysis, high throughput screening of novel compounds, and use of patient samples.




Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry, or have investigated a closely related field for their Ph.D. research project. 
  • Experience with basic biochemical or molecular biology is required.
  • A strong commitment to research is required.
