Clinical Assistant Professor

COLORADO – AURORA. Children's Hospital Colorado’s Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program is searching for a full-time clinical or tenure track faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Primary responsibilities include clinical and didactic resident instruction in concert with other faculty members. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic academician with record of involvement in scholarly activities and a commitment to excellence in clinical and didactic teaching. The Pediatric Dental Center is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora Colorado, one of the nation’s newest comprehensive academic health science centers that includes Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health and the College of Nursing. Children's Hospital Colorado is nationally recognized as one of the top US Children’s Hospitals and is an EEO institution and affiliated with the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine through which dental faculty receive their academic appointments and are employed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• DDS/DMD degree or foreign equivalent 
• A certificate in pediatric dentistry from an ADA accredited program
• Boardeligibility or certification
• Candidates must be eligible for original oracademic Colorado licensure

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Previous experience teaching in aprofessional academic setting
