Position Summary

This individual will serve as the Coordinator of the Audiology Clinic in the UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic. This position will be a Clinical Assistant Professor in audiology. Individuals with supervisory experience for student clinicians, as well as specialty expertise in cochlear implants and tinnitus management are encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

Required Qualifications for this position include all of the following:
• Earned doctorate in audiology (AuD) or a Ph.D. in a closely related field
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology by the American Speech Language-Hearing
Association
• Georgia license in Audiology or license eligible at time of application (Georgia
license must be obtained prior to the start date.)
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience in audiology

Duties/Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include all of the following and other duties:
•Provide direct clinical services and management in the evaluation and habilitation/rehabilitation of hearing disorders for all ages
•Coordinate daily operations of the audiology clinic
•Instruct and supervise speech-language pathology graduate students in clinical practica in the on-campus clinic and off-campus locations
•Teach undergraduate and graduate courses (face-to-face, online, and/or blended) and mentor and advise students, as assigned
•Engage in departmental, college, university, and professional service
•Comply with university, regulatory, and accreditation agency standards
