Post Doctoral Associate

Job description

We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to work within our growing research group in the Dermatology Department on immunometabolic changes in vitiligo. Our general approach is to seamlessly integrate basic, translational, and clinical research strategies to improve our understanding of vitiligo pathogenesis with the goal of developing new treatments to improve the lives of patients with vitiligo. The successful candidate would work in a specialized team of researchers to identify key metabolic pathways to pursue for further validation and functional experiments using both human tissue and mouse models of the disease.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in immunology or a related biomedical science.

Experience studying metabolic pathways is strongly desired, as well as a demonstrated ability to work within a diverse team of scientists to accomplish a common goal. Additional experience in immunology is a plus.

The potential candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills and be eager to present research results at national meetings. Prior experience studying autoimmunity is advantageous, but not required.

Interested candidates should send cover letter and resume to Dr. John Harris at [email protected]
