William Jewell College seeks a dynamic, experienced enrollment and marketing leader to join our leadership team as Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing. This is an opportunity to have a tremendous impact by advancing the College’s Mission with the aim of solidifying William Jewell’s market position and creating demand for Jewell’s educational offerings. The VP for Enrollment and Marketing is responsible for creating, deploying, and assessing the College’s Strategic Enrollment Management Plan, and aligns communication and recruitment strategies to ensure robust enrollment of future Jewell alumni, whether these students are traditional, transfer, or lifelong learners.
The VP for Enrollment and Marketing will serve as William Jewell’s strategic and operational lead in recruiting, admitting, retaining, and marketing to students. The incumbent is an essential part of the President's leadership team. The successful candidate should be versed in current, effective enrollment and marketing strategies and will lead the Admission and Marketing teams to utilize data and technology to optimize relationships with prospective students. The VP in Enrollment and Marketing will be able to recognize and act upon synergies between and among student recruitment, retention, alumni and donor engagement, and the College’s ongoing stewardship of its brand. This person will build partnerships both within and outside of the College to expand Jewell’s reach and advance the Strategic Plan. This position also works closely with key constituents to create enrollment and marketing strategies designed to ensure William Jewell’s long-range sustainability.
Education and Experience:
- A master's degree in a related field required
- Five or more years of experience in a senior leadership role within higher education admissions; significant experience and/or expertise in marketing, ideally within higher education.
This is an exempt, full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience, and includes an excellent benefits package including medical/dental/vision/life/LTD insurance, 403(b) retirement plan plus match after qualifying period, 10 days of vacation per year, 12 sick days and a minimum of 14 paid holidays annually. Staff members also receive free admission to campus events, use of the pool, fitness center, and tennis courts. Tuition remission is also available after an introductory period. Voluntary benefits include: long-term care insurance.
