TheOffice of Admissions has an opening for the position ofAdmissions Officer , above grade 12. I. Basic Functions:Manages the processing and verification of completeness of applications. Produces admission letters and manages the pre-registration process. Generates and analyzes complex reports. II. Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Excellent familiarity with commonly used word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic.

    Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut bases its educational philosophy, standards, and practices on the American liberal arts model of higher education. Olayan School of Business.

    AUB currently offers more than 120 programs leading to the bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The University became coeducational in 1922; its student body is 50 percent male and 50 percent female. The language of instruction is English (except for courses in the Arabic Department and other language courses). The student faculty ratio is 13 to 1.
