The Assistant Director of Compliance is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to effectively review, evaluate, update and audit all aspects of the Federal Work Study program as well as other practices related to Financial Aid policy. Identify and monitor essential metrics, reports, and key indicators that align with trainings and feedback to maintain compliance with federal guidelines and are consistent with best practice in the industry. Serve as policy expert, training facilitator and communications liaison throughout the University with regards to Financial Aid, Title IV regulations, and specifically the Federal Work Study program. This role will facilitate, support, and provide guidance in ensuring compliance to policies, practice, public-facing content, and adherence to all regulatory policy impacting departments within Enrollment Management.

Required Education:Bachelor’s DegreePreferred Education:Masters in Higher Education or related fieldRequired Experience:At least 4 years of Federal Student Aid operations and/or compliance experience within a Higher Education environment, or equivalent.Preferred Experience:5+ years of experience working within Financial Aid in a large complex University systemRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office software. Ability to work in a team environment required. Professional presentation and communication skills required. Proven ability to create communications that effectively reach multiple and diverse stakeholder groups. Demonstrated ability to identify trends in operational data. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Critical listening skills required.
