The Records Coordinator-Intermediate position will manage electronic test score loads and electronic application loads, using XAP, Axiom, and eRecruiter, into the Banner Student Information System. This includes reconciling duplicate records and other errors generated by the system. The position will create and print Admissions letter correspondence to prospective, accepted, and denied applicants and be responsible for updating the letter correspondence as necessary, in cooperation with the Assistant Director of Data and Communication Management. The position will serve as lead in running Admissions Audit reports, which look for application errors, residency errors, and program errors. These audits require problem solving skills and analysis capabilities to determine appropriate next steps to reconcile data loads and submission errors. The position would additionally, after the error is identified, be responsible for the correcting of said errors in eRecruiter and Banner system to ensure data integrity. This position will also be responsible for the input of admissions applications and transcripts into Banner and other data related duties, as required, including: calculating transfer students GPA, evaluating high school/college course completion, making admission decisions on transfer and non-degree seeking students. Additionally, the position will serve in a back-up role to the Admissions/Imaging liaison, who is responsible for routing and entering various Admissions documents. The position also assists the Assistant Director of Operations in the day-to-day management of the front desk and the student employees who man the front desk. Other job duties as assigned by the Director/Associate Director of Admissions are possible.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of work experience; preferably in a student services environment. Must have exceptional customer service skills, be deadline oriented with ability to make sound, informed decisions. Must have excellent organizational and planning skills and be able to communicate effectively (oral and written). Ability to work through stressful situations and perform in a team environment needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to candidates with direct experience in Banner and/or working with registration and course maintenance. Experience in the use of complex computerized information systems. Ability to lead a group, team or project.

Salary $13.28 minimum - $15.93 midpoint Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Normal office environment with long periods of sitting at times.
