The Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center seeks an academic clinician. Candidates will be considered at all academic ranks (i.e., Assistant Professor to Professor).
We are seeking individuals with proven clinical and research expertise in gastrointestinal malignancies. Board certification and/or eligibility in Hematology Oncology is required. Qualifications should include a demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in gastrointestinal and immunotherapies research and potential or demonstrated ability to secure extramural research funding.
The candidate will have a track record of peer reviewed funding and publications in laboratory based translational research in gastrointestinal malignancies, including the identification of novel therapeutic targets, and/or the development of investigator initiated therapeutic protocols.
The individual will also serve as an attending physician in the Division of Medical Oncology, with focus on the care and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies. This includes outpatient care, as well as inpatient attending responsibilities for the division (on inpatient units at UMHC, UMH and/or Jackson Memorial Hospital).
