As a member of the Admissions Team, the position is responsible for greeting students and guests, fulfilling customer needs, and providing clerical, data and technical support. In all activity, the Data Entry and Web Content Specialist recognizes that service to students and guests is a top priority. The position is responsible for maintaining various College websites, portals, and web applications, and contributes to the overall online communications and marketing strategies for the Admissions Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for data entry tasks such as entering admission applications and prospective student data into SIS and CRM systems.

Assists with coordination and evaluation of admissions and enrollment services processes and data within the College including: the student inquiry database, client relationships management software and database, Student Information System (SIS), and other communication processes with prospective and current students.

Captures contact information from inquiring students; assists in the communication to prospective students to promote action through the admissions enrollment process. Answers prospective student electronic inquiries. Communicates with applicants when information is missing or unverifiable.

Assists with the design, development, and implementation of web pages, web and portal sites, the College intranet site, and web projects as defined by the Assistant Vice President for Student and Enrollment Services. Maintains and updates the content on Terra State's website, intranet pages, digital signage and my.terra.edu.

Runs daily SQL processes to produce reports that support enrollment management.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge and skills of any specific or related computer software necessary for the completion of position duties.

Reads and routes incoming e-mail to Admission inbox; prepares outgoing admission letters and other messages including enrollment campaign communications.

Submits and reviews funding request reports for College Credit Plus (dual enrollment) to statewide database on a weekly basis.

Completes other duties as assigned.

•Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and e-mail with a focus on Excel.
•Demonstrated experience working with BANNER (or another student information system) and Radius (or other client relationship management system).
•Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of students.
•Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, and collaborate with colleagues.
•Basic HTML skills and general knowledge of website development best practices and back-end functionality.
•Knowledge of graphic design, custom web design & programming as applicable for web pages.
Required Education and/or Work Experience:•Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the primary responsibilities and one to two years of experience in web design and development, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
•Associates degree and one to two years of experience in a related field required.
•Experience with an SIS and CRM (Client Relationship Management software and database) preferred.
•Experience with a Content Management System for website content management required.
•Experience with integrating multimedia on websites to include streaming audio/video required
•Experience in developing and working with static, dynamic and database driven web pages preferred
