This is a full-time, 12-month position in which the selected individual will be responsible for all aspects involving the field hockey program including instructing student-athletes in sport performance and related health and fitness, recruitment of potential student-athletes, and the academic success of student-athletes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the supervision of two full time assistant coaches, scheduling, match and practice preparation, alumni and public relations, as well as fund raising efforts.

Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.
Qualifications:Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, minimum 3 years coaching experience, strong communication skills and efficient computer skills

Preferred Requirements: Master’s degree, collegiate playing and coaching experience
