Guilford College Department of Computing Technology and Information Systems, including Cyber and Network Security, (CTIS/CNS) invites applications for a two-year full-time position at Guilford College as Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Computing Technology and Information Systems beginning August 2019. Primary interest must be in teaching undergraduates, both majors and non-majors. Teaching responsibilities include day and evening courses that support the CTIS and CNS majors, and the new initiatives and 3-week/12-week academic semester calendar of the Guilford Edge ( Candidates should be able to teach courses in more than one area of information technology, with departmental courses including programming, management information systems, database systems, systems analysis and design, networking, operating systems, cybersecurity, computer forensics, information design, and others. Candidates should possess master’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field (terminal degree preferred). Guilford College has a 3:3 course load.
