Department The Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) at the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering is pleased to invite applications for an open rank, tenure-track faculty position in the city of Tallahassee, Florida, in the following focus areas:

- Experimental Aerodynamics & High-speed Gas Dynamics
- Combustion Dynamics & Reacting Flows
- Computational Fluid Dynamics & Data Sciences

The ME Department currently has approximately 28 faculty, 85 graduate students, 361 undergraduate students and annual expenditures in excess of 6.5 million. The successful candidate will find outstanding research facilities such as low and high-speed wind tunnels, jet facilities and advanced flow diagnostics, high-performance computational resources. The faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise undergraduate and graduate students, and participate in service activities within the department, the university and the profession.Qualifications Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline.
