Job Description:
SUMMARY
Manages the planning, implementation, administration, development and general effectiveness of new and existing programs under the Manufacturing Center of Excellence (MCoE) structure. Assists with the implementation of Manufacturing programs developed under the MCoE, including the alignment of academic and workforce programs and certificates with industry needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversees and manages manufacturing programs utilizing national best practicesSupports the expansion and implementation of related programs operating at other campusesManages the implementation of employer-led programsManages Manufacturing Center of Excellence (MCoE) grantsWork in collaboration with other MCoE staff to establish metrics and dashboards that measure student interest, student enrollment, progression, certificate attainment, and completionManages and coordinates community and employer resources and partnerships to facilitate engagementSupervises, coaches, and assesses the performance of assigned staffServes as budget unit leader for grants and other assigned fundingCoordinates the alignment of MCoE programs with K-12 curriculum Develops and maintains effective communication with prospective applicants, current students, employers, and all funding partners Participates on advisory and/or industry committees, and attends meetings representing the interest of the program Conducts marketing initiatives for the program to include recruitment, internships, industry partnering at the local and regional levelProvides input for assessment of curriculum, instruction, and student experience Supports the growth and expansion of MCoE initiatives to internal and external audiencesPerforms other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
