A Postdoctoral full time position is available in the Brain-Gut Interaction Laboratory at UCLA David Geffen Medical School, and West Los Angeles VA to participate in projects involving anatomical profiling of neuronal circuits in the gut, using viral tracing, immunohistochemistry, multiple labeling, tissue clearing and 3D neuronal tracing and image reconstruction. The position will offer excellent opportunity to advance career path and to obtain training in new methodological approaches.

The applicant should have a PhD with some experience and interest in neuroanatomical and immunohistochemical studies and in microscopy and imaging processing. Knowledge and experiences preferred in the enteric nervous, vagal, spinal autonomic and sensory systems, small animal surgeries, confocal and multiple photons microscopy, and image processing.
