Position Description:
Under the direction of the Office of the Vice Chancellor Student Affairs (OVCSA) Administrative Manager, the OVCSA Program Coordinator will provide assistance related to the strategic planning and management for Student Affairs emergency planning, web and communications support, and office administration coordination and duties. The position will provide executive level support for the daily activities of the Executive Director of Student Affairs Initiatives (EDSAI), including calendar duties, meeting preparation, correspondence, leadership programs (including meetings, trips, receptions, and professional development offerings), and special projects. The Program Coordinator will provide administrative and project support to the Student Fee Advisory Committee (SFAC) and Global Citizens Fellowship (GCF) program, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs (VCSA) initiatives, as well as assist, as necessary, with organizational event planning and coordination. The position is supervised by the OVCSA Administrative Manager and the individual will work closely with the Administrative Manager, the EDSAI and the VCSA to carry out the activities and duties of the OVCSA.

In the 2007 edition of U.S. News and World Report, UCLA Medical Center was ranked best in the West, as well as one of the top 3 hospitals in the United States alongside Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 15 of the 16 medical specialty areas examined, UCLA Medical Center ranked in the top 20.
