Job Details

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of West Georgia invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Spanish (on the Carrollton, GA campus), beginning Fall 2019. Responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate Spanish courses at all levels of the curriculum, as well as conducting appropriate research and scholarship, and performing service to the Department, the College of Arts & Humanities, and the University. Eligibility for the position requires completion of a Ph.D. in Spanish or a closely related field by August 1, 2019, near-native fluency in Spanish, a strong commitment to teaching excellence at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum, and demonstrated potential for scholarly publications in the area of expertiseSubmit curriculum vitae, letter of interest, copies of transcripts, and 3 letters of recommendation to Interfolio at this link: https://apply.interfolio.com/59730.
