Job Responsibilities

In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Piedmont Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty (temporary, part-time) to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or our six county campuses in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during the day/evenings, on-line and dual credit instructors to teach in high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi at a variety of locations utilizing technology and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.
Coverage is specifically needed for the Greenwood, Laurens, and McCormick campuses. These positions are for in the classroom teaching only. These classes are not taught in an online format.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

The Developmental and Transitional Mathematics instructor position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, a Bachelor's degree in a qualifying area (Education, Developmental Education, Divergent Learning, Mathematics Education), or a Bachelor's degree in a related area with teaching experience in Mathematics at a level related to the assignment.
