The lead tutor will be responsible for all eCampus tutoring programs including the embedded online eCampus staff tutors, online tutoring service and any other specialized tutoring service need. The lead tutor will perform embedded online tutoring duties in their subject area which includes responding to student inquiries and questions in the online environment. The lead tutor will be responsible for guiding students through the tutoring process and coordinating tutoring needs with faculty. The lead tutor will be the main point of contact for all eCampus tutoring and will coordinate the online tutoring service and eCampus embedded online tutoring offerings. This position will have supervisory responsibility for the embedded online eCampus staff tutors. The lead tutor will have a passion for helping students to improve their lives through learning. This position will be located at UWG Carrollton.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree required and 1-2 years experience with tutoring students in either STEM or writing assistance. Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, strong typing and computer skills, effective in electronic responses, and have the ability to trouble shoot problems calmly in potentially stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong preference for higher education experience and prior supervisory capacity. Preference for prior eCampus or other online tutoring experience. Prior learning management system experience is preferred. Must have some flexibility on work hours (evenings and weekends as needed).

Salary $35,796 (minimum) to $46,740 (midpoint) Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Will be in-person at UWG Carrollton and will have the ability to work remote at times, based on needs of the business. Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
