Clinician Educator, General Ob/Gyn with focus in Health Services Research
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a focused interest in health services research, gender minorities, and health equity. Candidate must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Ob/Gyn.
Candidate would join a group of full-time obstetricians and gynecologists, advanced practice nurses and midwives in a faculty practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required. A commitment to resident and medical student education is required as candidates will be expected to teach Ob/Gyn residents and medical students.
