Minimum Education/Experience: A Masters degree or higher and 18 graduate-level credit hours in Mathematics and/or Statistics is required for appointment as teaching instructor. In addition to the requirements for teaching instructor, a terminal degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field appropriate to the area of instruction is required for consideration for appointment as teaching associate professor or teaching assistant professor. College teaching experience is required. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated record of effective teaching of mathematics.

Job Duties: East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, invites applications for two anticipated full-time teaching instructor, teaching assistant professor, or teaching associate professor in the Department of Mathematics, contingent upon funding, beginning August 12, 2019. Duties include teaching mathematics and/or statistics courses at the undergraduate level. Service to the university, community, and profession is expected. This non-tenure-track position is for the Fall and Spring semesters of 2019-2020 academic year only, with the possibility of subsequent appointments.
