Job Duties: The Assistant Director spends one-quarter of their week on student contact, via phones or in-person, advising students and parents about financial aid programs, eligibility requirements, financing options, policies and procedures at the University. Another quarter of their time is spent on student file reviews, analyzing financial aid applications, resolving conflicting information, investigating unusual situations and deciding the outcome. The remaining fifty percent of their work week is spent on program administration. This position administers, originates and reconciles the Pell grant, the TEACH program, and assists with the reconciliation of the Federal Direct Student Loan program.
