Assistant/Associate Tenure Track/Tenured Faculty Position in Statistics, Measurement, and Evaluation in Education

As part of our recently developed Strategic Plan and our enhanced commitment to research as an AAU member institution, the University of Missouri (MU) College of Education is committed to continued support of Statistics, Measurement, and Evaluation in Education. We are searching for an individual to fill a tenure track faculty position who shares the College’s commitment to quality research, excellent teaching, exceptional service to students and the profession, and to continuous quality improvement in an environment of civility and respect. We anticipate hiring at the Assistant/Associate level depending on qualifications.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

    Doctorate in Educational Research, Educational Measurement and Statistics, Quantitative Psychology or a related field by the time of appointment (anticipated September 1, 2019) with an emphasis in quantitative analysis.Evidence for effective teaching of research, statistics, measurement, and/or evaluation courses at the graduate level.Evidence of scholarly productivity and strong potential for securing external research funding (successful funding if at the Associate level).

    Candidates will be evaluated on the following factors:

    Background in quantitative methods as applied in the educational, social, behavioral, or other psychological sciences. Experience and expertise in multilevel modeling, quantitative program evaluation, and/or causal inference.
    Ability to develop and sustain an independent program of scholarly research.

    This position is in the Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology (ESCP).
