The School of Nursing and Health Studies at the University of Miami is seeking a full-time Professor. This faculty leader will be responsible for the evaluation and maintenance of undergraduate and graduate programs ensuring that policies and procedures are in place to support and enhance the academic life and career development of students within the School of Nursing and Health Studies.

 

Additional duties include the evaluation of student performances, development of teaching methods, delivering a range of teaching and assessment activities including lectures, coursework, practical's, placements according to own area of subject specialization, carry out designated school functions, including, participation in committee work, assisting in the process of admissions and preparation of submission for teaching quality.

 

Candidates must hold a PhD in Nursing and 5 plus years of progressive experience in addition to an outstanding portfolio in advanced nursing education and a distinguished record of research, scholarly achievement, a consistent record of publications, and experience mentoring students. Candidates must also demonstrate achievement of professional recognition at a national and international level that will enhance the stature of the School.
