The Division of Agriculture is a state wide campus, with faculty based on University campuses, at Research and Extension Centers and in every Arkansas County. It consists of the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station (AAES) and the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service (CES), and is home to more than 1400 employees. The Division was established in 1959 and is headed by the Vice-President for Agriculture. Employee will collect blood, fecal, and forage samples and follow handling and storage procedures for each type of sample collected. Will also record data and follow instructions. Maintenance of equipment used in daily operations of research such as scales, facilities and other items used in research and data collection.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in physical science or related field.

Minimum 2 yrs. experience with farm machinery, tractors, forage harvesting equipment, general farm work, working with livestock.
