The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, is searching for a 5% effort Clinical Professor. The successful applicant will lead a monthly faculty discussion of clinical cases and educational issues, attend and participate in a new monthly forensic psychiatry case conference, and may provide individual tutorials to senior psychiatry residents enrolled in Intensive Psychotherapy Sequence. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. We especially welcome applicants with expertise in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysis experience.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, 4) have completed an ACGME-approved Child & Adolescent residency or its equivalent, and 5) have psychoanalytic experience.
