Duties: The Faculty Affairs Coordinator for the Department of Radiology reports to the Manager of Faculty and Medical Affairs.This role is responsible for the administrative duties related to the Faculty Affairs and Medical Staff Credentialing processes. The Faculty Coordinator will serve as a resource on UPENN and PSOM policies and processes related to faculty employment and career progression to the department Chair, DCOAP Chair, Education Officer, Vice Chairs, other members of administrative leadership such as COA and Finance Directors, as well as the Faculty and Medical Affair's Manager and the faculty.
The Faculty Coordinator is responsible for assisting in preparing documents for appointment, reappointment and promotions, recruitment, and submission of accurate dossiers for final review. The successful candidate will assists in conducting appointment and reappointment credentialing responsibilities for the faculty and may serve as backup for assistance with faculty recruitment, scheduling committee meetings and processing required documentation for the faculty appointments. Provides back-up for the Faculty and Medical Affairs Manager.
Qualifications: An Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
