Minimum Education/Experience: A current North Carolina medical license is required. Medical degree from an appropriately accredited institution is required. Board certification or board eligible in Internal Medicine. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to primary care education, as well as expertise in the management of diabetes mellitus.

Job Duties: The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, is now accepting applications for additional faculty at the Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor level with a tenure-track or fixed-term appointment. This position will provide care primarily in the outpatient setting, but may also spend a small portion of time providing care on the inpatient academic hospitalist service. Outpatient duties will be a mixture of private faculty clinics and teaching and supervising residents seeing patients in our outpatient clinic.
