Director of Alumni Relations and Engagement

Description:
Strengthen and reinvigorate connections between alumni and the college in support of college short and long-term objectives, and in preparation for a broad-reaching alumni engagement campaign. This position requires extensive travel with an annual visit goal of 120 in-person meetings.

Campus Location: Boston Campus

Required Knowledge:
• 10-15 years of work experience
• Ability to relate to our unique alumni population who work predominantly in creative fields
• Willingness to connect with alumni donors and leaders via face-to-face visits, phone, email
• Experience in providing high-touch service and responsiveness to community members
• Outstanding organization and interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Demonstrated initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred/Desirable Knowledge:
• History of volunteer involvement with the college • Understanding of the history and culture of the college • Demonstrated positive results of aligning established alumni with the college’s priorities

Required Prior Work Experience:
10+ years of work experience in relationship building in Alumni Relations or Development / Fundraising role.
