Job Details
The Public Health Program at Nazareth College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant to begin August 2019. The School of Health and Human Services seeks candidates committed to undergraduate teaching excellence at a comprehensive institution that supports both liberal arts curricula and professional programs. Applicants who will contribute to the college’s commitment to a diverse and inclusive environment are encouraged to apply.
The program seeks candidates who will contribute to building this new major in an environment that values diversity and inclusion with a commitment to active civic engagement and global public health.
Required EducationMPH or MPA in health-related area required; doctoral preparation or ABD status preferred for tenure-track position.
Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to teach epidemiology, program development, needs assessment, planning and evaluation.
Preferred QualificationsPrevious teaching experience of public health content at the undergraduate level; teaching methodology, curriculum development, evaluation, or willingness to plan for acquisition of these skills.
