Duties: Reporting directly to the Business Manager, the Financial Analyst is a key member of Wharton Finance & Administration's GAAP Team. This position is responsible for the accounting, compliance, and analytics for contracts and agreements entered into with external organizations by Wharton Research Data Services, Wharton Executive Education, Wharton Online, and Wharton Interactive. These complex and custom agreements require detailed review and analysis, reporting, and billing arrangements.

The Financial Analyst must utilize substantial interpersonal, written, and analytical skills in order to provide an understanding and communicate complex financial information to senior management. Given the custom nature of arrangements that are common in these businesses, the individual must possess a combination of big picture, intellectual curiosity, detailed thinking, and exceptional communication skill. This position will summarize and communicate results and current status with senior management and department heads.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated strong financial, analytical, and accounting skills. Capability to independently manage multiple projects from design through final presentation. Ability to accurately work in the details but also step back and reflect on the big picture. Excellent organization/information management skills with the ability to work independently, adopt priorities and set/meet deadlines. Strong multi-tasking in complex financial and administrative environment. Demonstrated solid oral and written communication skills. Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
