Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of the Counseling Center, the Staff Psychologist/Clinical Coordinator Counseling Center of the Roosevelt University Counseling Center (RUCC) is a licensed clinical psychologist who fulfills the broad range of roles in the Counseling Center which include providing clinical and consultative services; delivering wellness/outreach programming; and providing training and clinical supervision to pre- and post- doctoral psychology trainees. The Staff Psychologist/Clinical Coordinator Counseling Center provides consultation and outreach to the University community; informally as well as via participation in committees. In addition to the clinical roles outlined above, the Staff Psychologist/Clinical Coordinator Counseling Center will assist in management of the clinical requests, including increasing appointments at peak times, and assuring case management of those referred to outside resources. The Staff Psychologist/Clinical Coordinator Counseling Center will assist in reviewing and utilizing our clinical data to inform our service delivery and to reallocate resources when necessary. The Staff Psychologist/Clinical Coordinator Counseling Center will assist in monitoring our data management system, Titanium, staying abreast of updates and staying active in Center For Collegiate Mental Health (CCMH) consortium.

Working Hours:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Doctorate degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology with three (3) years of progressive administrative responsibilities. Active licensure in the State of Illinois within six (6) months of hire is required. Previous experience in a university counseling center in areas such as: clinical assessment, therapy, crisis management, training, supervision and mentoring, consultation, and administration and management of program development are essential. Strong organizational skills and exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are needed. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. A positive and professional demeanor is a must. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an urban college or university with a residential and large commuter student population is preferred.
