Job Details

Posting Information: Assist the Head Football Coach with the administration of the football program in compliance with NCAA and Southern Conference rules and regulations and the procedures of Western Carolina University. Effectively fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the assistant football coach and other duties as assigned. Major areas of responsibility include: coaching, assisting with the development and recruitment of student athletes; assisting in the planning strategies that promote the program across the institution and among key stakeholders, including alumni and parents; striving to continuously improve the program in ways that support team unity and the academic, spiritual, and leadership development of the athletes. Additional responsibilities will be assigned by the head coach.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Collegiate coaching experience and demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred. All degrees must be from an accredited institution.
