Minimum Education/Experience: A PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved program. Successful completion of an APA-approved internship in Psychology Evidence of Board Certification by the National Registry of Health Care Providers in Psychology OR that you are eligible for appropriate board certification as specified in the ECU Physicians Credentialing Plan. If you are not yet board certified, board certification will be expected in accordance with ECU Physicians Credentialing Plan.

Job Duties: The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, in Greenville, NC, is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to complement an excellent core health psychology faculty group. There are varied academic, research, and teaching opportunities. We are seeking an individual with skills and interests in the practice of clinical psychology in general hospital settings. The successful candidate will work with the multidisciplinary consultation liaison team, working with both patients with psychiatric disorders as well as patients with psychological factors affecting other medical conditions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in training psychology learners as well as psychiatry residents and medical students. Varied other academic, research, and teaching opportunities are available. Some outpatient work in health psychology also may be available. Successful candidate will also be involved in training psychology learners as well as psychiatry residents and medical students.
