Position: Part-time Special Crew Location: Wheaton, IL
Job Id: 294 # of Openings: 2 Facilities Operations: Part-Time Special CrewTHIS IS A PART TIME POSITION: 25 hours per week / 12 months per year. The hourly rate for this position is $16.00/hour.Responsibilities: Responsible to the Custodial Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor for performing trucking and set up duties, in addition to doing non-routine cleaning. Also responsible for supporting Project Crew and Custodians on an as needed basis. Duties:
  1. Perform deliveries and set ups as directed by shift Supervisors.
  2. Assist in cleaning facilities and in supporting Project Crew during work force shortages and during special events.
  3. Correspond and coordinate daily assignments with shift Supervisors.
  4. Monitor and control the use, condition and location of the equipment and fixtures used in doing set ups.
  5. Operate a Wheaton College vehicle
  6. Assist in training and supervising Custodian II in equipment use and procedures.
  7. Assist Public Safety in performing Blood Borne Pathogens clean up and fulfill the training requirements set forth by the Risk Management Office for “First Responders”.
  8. Provide evaluations concerning new products and procedures.
  9. Respond to campus emergencies during and after work hours.
  10. Implement and practice chemical and work safety rules.
  11. Participate in all training sessions.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:High school or equivalentCustodial II experience preferred but not requiredMust complete First Responders trainingMust have a valid Driver License Revised: 11/26/2018
