Job summary: Certified NP in Family. This position is a full-time tenure track faculty position in the MSN/DNP primary care APRN program. Responsibilities include clinical practice in primary care, curriculum/program planning, facilitation of and implementing innovative teaching strategies, and scholarship. Experience in graduate online teaching methods is preferred, but a motivated candidate without teaching experience who meets the educational requirements will be considered. Open Rank - rank will be awarded at the level of Instructor or above.

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 0: Commensurate with experience.

FLSA: Salaried

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A DNP or PhD in Nursing or related field is preferred, Masters in Nursing and a commitment to scholarship is required. A familiarity with or interest in case-based or problem-based teaching is ideal. Candidates should be eligible for APRN licensure by the State of South Carolina and hold national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Current BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network .

**Candidates without a doctorate will be considered, but will be expected to be enrolled in an accredited nursing doctoral program either at the time of hire or within three years of employment.**
