The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Medicine has an opening for a fellow in our one-year Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship beginning July 1, 2017. This position will incorporate training in the areas of cardiac and thoracic imaging. Fellows will be responsible for supervised interpretation of thoracic and cardiovascular imaging examinations including radiography, computed tomography, CT and MR angiography, and cardiac CT and MRI.

Education Requirements

M.D., D.O. or FMG equivalent

Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for consideration, a candidate must be:
a)enrolled in or have completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology
b)board-eligible or Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology
c)pass the core ABR Examination by July 1 2017, if not board certified
d)able to qualify for a current NC Medical License, individual DEA License and a NPI # (National Provider Identifier) by April 1 2017.
e)legally able to work in the United States
