POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Assist at the Admissions front desk as needed, including answering phones and greeting customers.
2.Assemble packets for mailing as needed.
3.Alphabetizing and filing of admissions records.
4.Preparation of forms for scanning.
5.Assist in the maintenance and updating of student records. (high school transcripts and ACT scores)
6.Photocopy, scanning, and fax documents as requested.
7.Assist with the distribution of daily mail.
8.Conduct tours to prospective students and parents
9.Deliver materials to internal departments as requested.
10.Assist in campus events organized by Admissions. Such as College Fair and Discover JJC.
11.Perform related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1.Maintain Confidentiality of student information
2.Self-motivated
3.Dependable
4.Basic computer and data entry experience and knowledge helpful.
5.Grade point average (GPA) must be maintained according to student worker guidelines and must be enrolled in 6 credits or above.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1.Strong Public Speaking Skills
2.Strong Customer Services Skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•Normal office physical demands.
•Must be able to lead walking tours across main campus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
•Duties are performed indoors in the usual office environment. Along with other areas of campus.
•May work up to 20 hours per school week and additional hours during the summer, if office budget allows.
•Will include occasional weekend hours for campus events and may include regular evening hours.
