Department This position is located in the Information Technology Services department.Responsibilities This position is responsible for performing highly specialized professional accounting and financial work for Information Technology Services (ITS) within the University Business Administrators program.

Responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing, and monitoring the financial activities for several Information Technology Services (ITS) E&G and Auxiliary operations in accordance with GAAP and federal , state and local laws, rules and regulations. Responsible for compiling and maintaining the supporting documentation for the ITS financial statements. Reconciles general ledger information on a weekly basis in OMNI to the original documentation. Monitors & balances accounts and researches & resolves any discrepancies by completing expenditure or revenue transfers or inter-departmental requisitions as appropriate. Prepares and maintains operational spreadsheets to ensure timely decision making by ITS management. Recommends changes to processes, policies, & procedures.

Serves as a P-Card proxy for ITS. Compiles expenditure reports/queries as needed for ITS departments. Responsible for managing the disbursements of all ITS Foundation accounts. Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of ITS Foundation account transactions and for preparing monthly reports on the ITS Foundation accounts. Serves as a back up Proxy for NWRDC.

Responsible for posting AR receipts for NWRDC in QuickBooks. Included in this responsibility is verifying the posted receipts in OMNI for accuracy and documenting the associated journal number associated with the deposit.

Assists with the preparation of budgets and other ITS planning documents as requested. Monitors revenue contracts for various auxiliaries to ensure timely and correct receipts. Monitors travel expenditure coding.

Serves as position support for NWRDC accounting as necessary. Assists with other duties and projects as assigned. Ensures standardized policies and procedures for this position are documented and updated as needed.Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to six years.

Experience communicating effectively both verbally and in writing.

Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Experience performing at a high level in a fast-pace, detail-oriented environment.

Experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Experience compiling, reviewing, and reconciling data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Experience using and knowledge of electronic data processing as it applies to fiscal and accounting activities.

Experience using and knowledge of applicable computer applications (Microsoft Office, Excel).

Experience using and knowledge of accounting systems and practices.Anticipated Salary Range Mid $30,000's.
