Job Description:
Learning Objectives:
Provide students with production experience in both a professional and educational setting. Through real-world access to the media profession, students will have an opportunity to succeed in the job market and create stronger transfer credentials. The Student Production Office will place students in a results-based domain, allowing them to acclimate to a deadline-driven, client-focused profession. The Student Production Office will also foster a networking and apprenticeship environment where students will have the opportunity to forge relationships and make contacts with established professionals and their peers who will be a valuable resource as they further their careers.
Qualifications:
Positions available in the following areas:
Accounting (ACCT); Information Technology (IT); Media Arts & Studies (MARS); Recording Arts & Technology (RAT); Visual Communications & Design (VC&D); Marketing (Mark); Human Resources (HR); College Pathways; and Business Administration (BADM). Qualifications:
- Minimum 2.75 – 3.00 GPA (varies by area);
- currently enrolled and working towards a degree in the discipline; completed at least 2 courses (B or better) in the discipline;
- successfully pass background/drug screening;
- submitted Coop Application of Interest Form to Career Services;
- resume approved by Career Services;
- completed three Career Services workshops: Resumes That Get Results; Ace That Interview; and Got the Job….Now What?
