The research assistant/data collector independently or with a partner travels to homes, schools, and child care settings to observe and assess programs, children and/or teacher-child interactions; maintain complete and accurate records; coordinate data collection schedules with other data collectors, school personnel, and families; and assist with entering data, assemble data packets and mailings, and other office duties as assigned. Required Ability to observe all rules and regulations pertaining to various study requirements. Required Ability to maintain accurate records for collecting, analyzing and sending data. Required Ability to work independently and meet required deadlines. Required Ability to travel as needed to various locations with own vehicle and valid drivers license. Required Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive issues. Required Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay attention to detail. Required Demonstrated experience working with young children Preferred Demonstrated writing skills to effectively record observations utilizing appropriate language and grammar.
