This department is a key partner in major initiatives across EA that span a wide variety of business applications and system technologies.

Under the direction of the Director of Project Management & Customer Success, the Application Development Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of application development projects, provide a high level of client/constituent services, conduct analysis of application development systems and make recommendations for process improvement. Projects will vary from those large in scope requiring input from multiple campus partners with a lifespan of 4-6 months or more, medium scale projects of 1-3 months to smaller scale application development projects of 1-3 weeks. Project responsibilities will include but are not limited to requirement discovery, scheduling, approval routing, quality assurance, client and internal team communications, etc. The incumbent will utilize project management best practices throughout the development and production processes, ensuring the integrated elements of all projects come together on time, on budget and meet client expectations for product quality and functionality. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing teams, business analysts, designers, copywriters, developers, executives, directors, and third-party vendors. This individual will work closely with developers to ensure that schedules are realistic and will work collaboratively with the production, account, digital and creative teams to maintain project schedules and manage work-flow based on departmental processes, project priority and requirements.
In addition, the Project Manager will also interact with their External Affairs and Advancement Services colleagues to ensure that they are satisfied with the services and tools that they receive from the department and will work to find solutions to areas in need of improvement. Required 2.Familiarity with project management tools and ticket systems. Required 3.Knowledge of CMS tools such as Wordpress, Drupal and Craft. Required 4.Knowledge of marketing, design, web development, e-communications and general creative and web development process. Skill in creating and developing production processes. Required 5.In-depth knowledge of full web and email development lifecycle: sitemap, wireframes, mockups, development and testing; mass email tools and email best practices, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Required 6.In-depth knowledge of Scrum/Agile process. Required 7.Proficient in HTML. Required 8.Highly organized and detail oriented with demonstrated experience in prioritizing responsibilities, managing time of numerous team members, and tracking details of multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Required 9.Excellent follow-through skills with strong ability to monitor project work flow and juggle a high volume of complex projects simultaneously - often in various stages of development - from commencement to completion within budget and on deadline. Required 10.Demonstrated experience serving as a team leader with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to interact and communicate with a wide array of divergent personalities in an efficient, positive, and professional manner. Required 11.Experience developing project budgets and success staying within budget during execution. Accurate math skills including, but not limited to, calculating ratios, rates and percentages sufficient for analysis. Required 12.Outstanding written & oral communication skills. Required 13.Demonstrated ability to keep abreast of industry trends and technologies and contribute frequent suggestions. Ability to learn new software applications and systems. Required 14.Ability to anticipate problems and difficult situations, troubleshooting to develop strategies to bring the parties involved to a mutually agreed upon solution. Required 15.Superior computer skills, proficiency with Adobe Create Suite and MS Office suite specifically, Microsoft Project. Required 16.Proactive, self-starter that can maintain an upbeat, positive attitude and work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
