Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Criminal Justice seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors to teach courses that may include but are not limited to: CJUS 2100; CJUS 3201; CJUS 3210; CJUS 3300; CJUS 3310; CJUS 3320; CJUS 3340; CJUS 3400; CJUS 3410; CJUS 3600; CJUS 3610; CJUS 3620; CJUS 3630; CJUS 3700; CJUS 4200; CJUS 4250; CJUS 4330; CJUS 4350; CJUS 4360; CJUS 4370; CJUS 4380; CJUS 4390; CJUS 4460; CJUS 4650; CJUS 4660; CJUS 4700; CJUS 4870, and CJUS 4901.

Minimum Qualifications:
18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Criminal Justice from an accredited college or university; Experience teaching criminal justice courses; Experience teaching online courses.
