Those with experience or interest in Auditing, Tax, or Cost Accounting are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants seeking a balance of teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment at UNI. The successful candidate with a superior record of performance in scholarship, teaching, and service will also be considered for appointment as the Deloitte Professor of Accounting. Strong teaching and research record or evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and research; and evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills also required. Preference will be given to candidates with professional certification; work experience in accounting; evidence of ability to create an engaged and applied classroom environment; and evidence of ability to advance the academic, professional and personal success of students.

The University of Northern Iowa has a bold vision that we will be a diverse and inclusive campus community that provides an engaged education empowering students to lead locally and globally. Successful candidates with background and interest in these areas will form clusters to advance our work, joining current faculty conducting teaching, scholarship, and service in these areas.

Applications received by February 11, 2019, will receive full consideration. To apply, visit http://jobs.uni.edu/. Inquiries may be sent to Dr. Eric Lee, search chair, at eric.lee@uni.edu or 319-273-2402. Pre-employment background checks required.
