Nature of Work
Assistant to the Director of Enrollment Services Center, assists in managing the ESC and Call Center and directly responsible for managing the Imaging Department. Plans, coordinates, and supervises
staff activities and training surrounding the ESC front desk and Imaging Department determining goals, improvements, and evaluations. Represent the ESC on committees, presentations and training seminars. Escalate issues to outside offices, serving as a Professional Liaison between Students/Staff/Faculty/VP/AVP. Develops unit plan, budget requests, and monitors office expenditures for the Imaging Department Assist students, parents, faculty and staff in regards to enrollment services. Provides troubleshooting and navigation for Wolf Watch, Ellucian Banner, Banweb, and Xtender. Also determines and resolve issues and matters that cause problems with processing, awarding and registration that would impede Retention, Progression, and Graduation (RPG) progress. Adjusts procedures as needed and communicates changes in policies and procedures to staff and university community. Serve as ESC Technical Representative: Maintaining the ESC website, and working with ITS to create programs and reports to aid in processing. Assist with Commencements to include working at the ceremony. Responsible for the overall operations of the ESC in the Director’s absence, coordinating closely with other campus departments regarding matters of mutual concern.
Bachelor’s degree required. 3 -5 years’ experience required, preferably in a University setting with student services environment. Experience in use of complex computerized information systems. Ability to lead a group, team or project. Must be deadline oriented with ability to make sound, informed decisions. Must have excellent organizational and planning skills and be able to communicate effectively (oral and written). Ability to work in stressful situations and perform in a team environment.
Master’s degree preferred. Prefer experience in a University setting with student services environment. Preference given to candidates with direct experience in baseline Banner, Xtender and Banweb
Salary $21.81 minimum - $28.08 midpoint
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time and work outside normal scheduled hours.
