Duties: The Behavior Change for Good (BCFG) Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania, led by Katherine Milkman and Angela Duckworth, is developing a digital platform to conduct large-scale field experiments designed to promote sustained behavior change in education, health, and savings. Our world-class team of scientific experts will be able to continually test and improve a behavior change program by seamlessly incorporating the latest insights from their research into massive random-assignment experiments. The research coordinator will work closely with Professors Angela Duckworth and Katherine Milkman on the development and evaluation of interventions to make behavior change stick across a wide variety of settings. The research coordinator will manage and coordinate significant multi-site research projects. This position entails developing and implementing research designs, data collection methods, and strategies for data management, as well as collaborating with several outside agencies and institutions.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Behavioral Economics, Psychology, or a related field is preferred. The research involved will use field data, experimental data, and hybrid field experiments. It requires expertise in econometrics and in particular familiarity with STATA, R, and data analysis on UNIX servers. The anticipated start date for this position is June 2019.
