As a senior Enrollment Management professional, provide leadership and support to the Vice Provost for the Division of Enrollment Management. Serves as a liaison for the Division and to associated Departments: Early Academic Outreach Program, BruinCorps, Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement, Undergraduate Admission, Financial Aid and Scholarships.

Utilizing direct enrollment management knowledge and experience, supports the Vice Provost by remaining current on critical industry trends, research, and analysis that impacts enrollment goals and strategies. Supervise planning, directing, coordinating and managing key enrollment functions for the Vice Provost. Provide advice and counsel on policies, procedures, and practices related to administrative functions and operations management that reflect compliance, organizational policies, standard operating procedures and best practice.

Work closely with the Vice Provost and organizational leaders to develop and achieve organizational goals, develop and share benchmarking and best practices across departments that support the division's strategic plan and objectives. Directly support the Vice Provost's activities including meeting planning, writing meeting briefings and debriefs, creating presentations, and generating action plans. Oversees, coordinates and maintains the Division's master calendar of events and critical meetings with a focus on advanced and timely planning that supports division's yearly priorities. Responsible for directing and managing critical communication on behalf of the Vice Provost, related to Enrollment Management projects, initiatives and programs. Where appropriate, communicate on behalf of the Vice Provost to various constituents and stakeholders and manage internal and external relationships that support the division's vision and strategic initiatives.

Required:

  • Strong knowledge and experience within a university environment and exposure on current issues and trends facing Enrollment Management including admission, financial aid, outreach and retention.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a complex and demanding work environment with the ability to manage multiple and simultaneous tasks and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated management skills working with professional and support staff to implement and manage projects and programs related to the functions of the Division.
  • Strong analytical skills, time management, good business acumen, and the ability to span boundaries.
  • Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing strategies and achieving divisional goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting and resource management.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively using organizational and planning skills, including managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of federal regulations regarding the administration of financial aid and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate and work well with diverse faculty, administrators, staff, students, families and the general public.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent public speaking ability and strong writing proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to evaluate programs and events, and prepare written analytical reports.
  • Ability to apply strong quantitative analysis and perform cross-functional projects, design and evaluation of current projects, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and accomplishing short and long term goals and objectives.
  • Evidence of experience in using creativity, and independent thought in the execution of job functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Strong analytical skill and an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Knowledge of organizational development strategies and practice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, student information systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Advanced degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

  • High degree of self-motivation, taking initiative and the ability to function productively and independently and see projects through completion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with sensitive information, documents and data.
